I always enjoyed drawing and writing just for fun, especially in boring meetings. Then my children were born, and everything changed—they demanded that my made-up bedtime stories be accompanied by illustrations. Read more→

About Me

Who Am I? Philosophy aside, I was born in Cuba and have called Virginia, United States my home for the past two decades. I’m a storyteller at heart. It all started with my children—their fascination with the tales I spun on the spot fueled my passion for storytelling. I made sure to tell these stories in both English and Spanish, hoping to instill a love for bilingualism in them.

Watching the joy and wonder light up their faces with each new story, I knew I had to share these adventures with more children. So, I began putting pen to paper, translating those cherished moments of family storytelling into written tales.

Now, through the pages of my books, I invite readers of all ages to join me on whimsical adventures where imagination knows no bounds and language is no barrier. It’s my hope that these stories bring as much joy to your family as they have to mine.

In the whimsical town of Santa Clara (Not California), Cuba, where locals—imaginative, resourceful, and captivating—whisper secrets to the wind under the star-studded Caribbean sky.

Education

Armed with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Sciences or Agronomy (depending on the latitude of your imagination), I’m less Shakespeare and more like a Jethro Tull enthusiast, serenading the crops with flute solos.
